Associate Scentventure Guide
Angela Nichols is a dog care and behavior specialist based in Fishers, Indiana. In 2025, she began volunteering at the Humane Society as a dog feeder and walker. Moved by the frequent dogs she encountered in the shelter exhibiting fear, stress and anxiety, she sought a certification in the Fear Free methodology to reduce these conditions in shelter animals. When she started her business, Cane A Casa, she found many customers with rescue dogs, who struggled with the same behaviors in their homes. She realized that if dog owners are not prepared to handle these behavioral challenges, the dogs often end up right back in the shelter.
She discovered Scentventure when working with Chandler, a rescue who was so anxious that walks were life-threatening events for the dog and his owners. Using Scentventure and Fear Free methods Angela found the recipe to help Chandler find calmness and his owners to understand how to help Chandler feel safe. This laid the foundation for stress-free walks and a strong human/dog partnership.
Angela says, “My mission is to ensure that no dog ends up in the shelter because the owner feels that they cannot handle them and for no dog to live with fear, stress or anxiety in the comfort of their own home.”

I’m Becca, a dog trainer & behaviourist living in the North East of England with my own dog, Freyja.
I am passionate about dogs having grown up alongside them. From a very young age, I remember being stuck in the classroom and craving the company of my first best friend, Fern, my border collie. That was a long time ago, I’ve since grown up, married, and adopted my beautiful husky cross, Freyja. She is the first dog I have owned outside the safety of my family home, and when behavioural problems presented - pulling on the lead, lunging at people, destroying my home - I began to search for a behaviourist to help me. And that’s when I came across Scentventure!
Scentventure has helped us in so many ways. It’s given us a new way of life, seamlessly weaving dog friendly activities in our days which has transformed Freyja into a calm and confident dog, whilst forging a truly strong partnership between her and I.
I was so inspired with this holistic way of training, that I decided to become a dog trainer & behaviourist myself!
Now partnered with Scentventure as an Associate Guide in training, and training with IMDT, my goal is to bring calm and confidence to as many dogs and dog guardians as possible. Whether you’re looking for Stress Free Walks, a helping hand with the terrible teens, or an outlet for those pesky unwanted behaviours, I am here to help you tailor solutions to achieve your goals for you and your dog.

Associate Scentventure Guide
I’m Emma an Associate Scentventure Guide and Trainee Tellington TTouch Practitioner based in Teeside.
I have seen how Scentventure can benefit all dogs having the extremes of my dog and people reactive 3 legged Terrier Sirius to a very laid back but easily distracted Italian Spinone Remus.
Sirius went from barking and lunging at dogs, people and anything that moved unexpectedly to being a pleasure to walk. Remus stopped disappearing off doing his own thing and we started enjoying our walks together.
Developing a strong partnership is key to facing any issue and enjoying life together.
Sirius is no longer with us and Remus is an old man now but Scentventure has become more important in his life than ever. He can’t walk far so our walks and time at home are enriched by Scentventure.
As a qualified vet I worked in practice for 23 years and saw how older dogs can decline physically and mentally if they can’t go for walks or those walks are no longer a pleasurable experience, this has made me interested in supporting older dogs or those who have to live with restricted activities by bringing calm enrichment to their golden years.
Emma’s availability will be released soon.

Hi, I’m Helen – a dog trainer based in West Berkshire, working in partnership with Scentventure to help owners enjoy calm, stress-free walks with their dogs.
I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, and my love for dog training started early, working alongside my uncle with gun and working dogs. After stepping away from farm life to raise a family, I rediscovered my passion through Scentventure.
A spontaneous visit to a local rescue centre led me to adopt two beagles – Veronica and Betty – who had been abandoned after life on a puppy farm. They were anxious, reactive, and overwhelmed by the outside world. I knew I needed extra support to help them settle and thrive.
Scentventure’s holistic training approach gave me the tools to gently introduce the girls to new experiences. With patience and consistency, we’ve built a toolkit of strategies that help us navigate walks, social outings, and everyday life with confidence.
Today, Betty and Veronica enjoy peaceful walks, pub visits, and time with friends – all without stress. My journey with them has deepened my understanding of canine behaviour and inspired me to help others do the same.

Associate Scentventure Guide
Hi, I’m Lauren, associate Scentventure guide in training based in Suffolk. I help dogs and their humans find calm, connection, and confidence, so stressful walks can become peaceful, enjoyable adventures.
If you’re feeling anxious, frustrated, or unsure how to help your dog, you’re not alone. I’ve been there too. My own dog, Fifi, was a dream puppy until she suddenly became reactive at seven years old. Almost overnight, our walks shifted from fun and relaxing to tense and overwhelming, and I felt completely lost.
Everything changed when I discovered Scentventure and its calm first approach. By putting calm before anything else, I was able to slow down, tune into Fifi’s communication, and reduce her stress on walks. As her needs were finally being met, our relationship began to heal. We went from hiding behind cars to sharing slow, joyful mooches together, and our bond is now stronger than ever.
That journey showed me what’s possible when calm comes first, and it’s something I am now passionate about sharing with other dog owners. Through scent-based activities, gentle exploration, and a partnership approach, we work together to support your dog while helping you feel more confident, calm, and connected on your walks.
This isn’t about obedience or quick fixes. It’s about creating a shared language built on trust, understanding, and joy. Whether you are navigating reactivity, high excitement, or simply want to deepen your bond, I am here to guide you every step of the way.
Let’s turn your walks into the best part of your day. 🐾

Associate Scentventure Guide
I’m Tracey Teague, an Associate Scentventure Guide based in Bridgetown, Western Australia, with my Australian Koolie Narrah – my heart dog and the CEO of Playful Pawz Adventure Park and my Burmese cat Neko.
Dogs have always been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with them, I learned just how much joy, comfort, and companionship they can bring – and how important it is to truly understand and connect with them.
From babyhood, I had my first dog Butch, a Border Collie puppy, my Mum bought as a companion for me to grow up with. From Butch to Narrah, I have never been without a dog in my life since. Over the years, my love for dogs has grown, alongside a deep understanding of the challenges they – and the people who love them can face!
My own experiences with Narrah, a working dog breed – including managing behavioural issues, anxiety around meeting people and other dogs, and dealing with encounters with off-leash dogs – have given me a strong understanding of common triggers and the problems people experience with their own dogs. As a qualified IMDT Trainer (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) with a Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training, and through my experiences with Narrah, I was inspired to find a more holistic way for dogs and humans to enjoy their time together – this led me to discover Scentventure. This Scent-led, choice-driven, innovative program transformed the way I think about walks, enrichment, and building connection. I was so inspired that I became an Associate Scentventure Guide, bringing this approach to Australia.
At Playful Pawz Adventure Park, I run 1:1 sessions or group classes designed to help dogs and humans Sniff, Explore and Discover together. Every session or group is stress-free, individually tailored, and focused on building confidence, calm and connection. Whether you’re seeking calm, stress-free walks, confidence-building activities or solutions for tricky behaviours, I’m here to help you and your dog enjoy fun, enriching adventures – where both of you leave feeling connected, and calm.

Hi I’m Tracey, a dog trainer based in Southeast Kent. I help owners transform frustration into fulfilment, fear into trust, and chaos into calm. My goal is to empower both ends of the lead—to nurture harmony, confidence, and connection through scent-work, enrichment, and compassionate, positive training.
I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my dad served as an RAF Police dog handler, and through him, I developed a deep respect and fascination for the incredible intelligence, loyalty, and emotional depth of dogs. He instilled a belief in me that true training is built on understanding, communication, and trust. That belief was tested years later when I found myself living with a fearful, reactive dog of my own Digby the Sheep-a-doodle walks became stressful, our connection frayed, and I often felt lost. I wanted to help Digby feel safe and confident, that’s when I discovered Scentventure, and everything changed.
Scentventure transformed not only our walks but our entire relationship. Rooted in the “four compass points” of Environment, Exploration, Scent-work, and Partnership, it offered a structured yet holistic approach that focused on healing rather than control. Through scent-work and enrichment, Digby is learning to find calm and focus in the world again—and I learned to slow down, observe, and truly connect. It’s not about the destination, but the journey we undertake to get there.
