Training Paddock
And of course, all the fun of the big field!
All of Dogwood’s usual Terms of Use apply - please read them here if you need a refresher. There are also additional rules for the use of the training paddock and training shelter.
DOGWOOD EAST ADDITIONAL TERMS
All equipment in the Training Paddock must be cleaned after use using the animal-safe spray and kitchen roll provided. We won’t be lenient with this as it cannot become another job for the team. Cleaning must take place within your allocated 50 minute time slot.
All equipment must be left tidily at the end of your session.
In the Training Shelter there is a mop bucket for urine. Dispose of poo in the bin outside the shelter and clean the spot with the mop.
You are liable for lost or damaged equipment. Please report damage to 07305091997 or if it’s non-urgent to hello@dogwoodadventureplay.com
Strict arrival and leaving times: sessions last 50 minutes. They start on the hour and you must return to your vehicle at ten to the hour.
Dogs must strictly be on lead between main field, training paddock and training shelter.
The training paddock doesn’t have full height fencing like the main fields. Keep your dog on a long lead if you think they might jump.
The area behind the training shelter is off limits. Please do not go beyond there.
There is no lighting anywhere on site. Bring your own torches if you come after dark.
HOW TO ACCESS
Via the pedestrian gate in the main car park - the padlock code is the same as the main gates.
If you want to drive down the track you can park at the end of the rough track but you will then have to reverse back down the track as you cannot drive onto the grass to turn around.
Never drive onto the grass as you will get stuck and the farmer charges £100 to pull you off plus you will be liable for ground damage and repair.
AVAILABILITY
The use of the training paddock and training shelter is for winter only as we will be back training there in spring.
Ends 26th March 2023.
Thursday afternoons are currently unavailable - do not book Thursday afternoons if you want to use all 3 areas.
FINALLY… ENJOY ALL 3 AREAS THIS WINTER!
