An Evening of tour de rescue

Dog trainer and best selling author Dominic Hodgson is heading off on his bike to complete a nationwide tour of local rescues to shine a light on the fantastic work they do, raise awareness and educate the community about rescue dogs so we can keep more dogs OUT of rescue centres and in their forever homes.

Due to our commitment to helping rescue dogs, Dominic has chosen Dogwood to host the Teesside leg of the Tour! The day's adventures end in an educational evening with some of the UK's best dog trainers - and you are all invited!

We are incredibly excited about the quality of speakers we have lined up!

>2019 Dog Trainer of the Year Adam Delderfield, travelling all the way from Milton Keynes! We can't wait to welcome him to the North East and listen to his fascinating presentation.

>David Davies who we have coaxed out of retirement to deliver a talk about how scentwork can help the pet dog. He will even tell us the story of Hamish the rescue dog who became a police search dog and TV star.

>Tim Jackson from Pets2Impress talking to us about his specialism, dog to dog reactivity and aggression.

>Helen Kay from Cleveland Dogs recounting Bramble the rescue puppy's journey, from dumped in a bin bag to happy and loved family home.

>The man himself - hopefully freshly changed out of his sweaty lycra! - Dominic Hodgson, author of four best selling dog training books.
